“In most clients, Spravato works in minutes to hours to significantly relieve symptoms. This is compelling, as antidepressants take six to 12 weeks to reach full effectiveness. Also, with antidepressants alone, up to half of people with depression fail to completely relieve their symptoms, while a third don’t receive any relief. Spravato can be a Godsend for these treatment resistant patients.”
– Justin Baksh, LMHC, BC-TMH, Chief Clinical Officer, iMind Mental Health Solutions
How Does It Work?
The ENGAGE parenting program classes are designed to equip parents with tools, techniques, and strategies that can make a real difference in children’s behavior and lives It works by:
-
Addressing attachment issues that prevent children from thriving in life
-
Prioritizing parental self-care, because if you aren’t well, your child will not be, either
-
Helping parents teach consequences versus punishment, which empowers children and trains them to change counterproductive behaviors
-
Teaching children how to make rational decisions
-
Reducing parental guilt, which is non-productive
-
Building a sense of structure and safety for the child
-
Rebuilding the family unit, helping children to feel loved and bonded to the family, which in turn affects their behavior and, ultimately, their future direction in life.
-
How to impart life skills to your children so that they become functional adults, able to care of themselves and lead fulfilling lives

What do you learn in the ENGAGE parenting program classes?
Some of the specific topics covered in parenting classes include:
-
What is your parenting style?
-
Power parenting
-
Dealing with defiance

Developing self-esteem

Spravato is making a real difference in the lives of people living with depression:

“When I was fully in my throes of depression, I would start every day off at a negative six or seven. After I started taking Spravato, I’m starting the day waking up neutral, which is best. My mom is my best friend… I’m actually finishing off my first semester… [and] I am learning so much stuff and growing as a person. I’m almost 24, and I never thought I’d live to see [it]. I just have so many opportunities. It’s awesome.”

Does Insurance Cover the ENGAGE Parenting Program?
After the FDA granted approval for Spravato for treatment of treatment resistant depression in 2019, health insurance companies began to add it to their formularies. Now, Spravato is also indicated in the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder with suicidal ideation.
Prior to receiving treatment, iMind will evaluate Spravato treatment appropriateness for each client, as well as verify insurance benefits to ensure coverage and obtain prior authorization. We also accept credit cards or HSA payments for any co-pays or deductibles due.
For those without mental health benefits, we offer low cash pay rates and sliding scale fees.

How Do I Get Started?
It all starts with a free consultation. Simply call our office or submit a form to have us contact you.
Once your consultation is scheduled, you will receive an invitation to our patient portal. There, you can fill out your pre-appointment paperwork.
At your appointment, we will review your history, provide a free evaluation, and determine whether Spravato would be a good fit for you.
After receiving authorization from your insurance company, your first Spravato treatment appointment will be scheduled.
