A native of sunny Stuart, Florida, Jenny has eight years of mental health experience. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Florida and Masters in Social Work from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Jenny has developed a true passion for working with clients to improve their mental health. Jenny believes that there is no “one size fits all” approach to mental health. Her goal is to meet clients where they are and understand where they are coming from. Together, she can work through their situation and set goals to spark change in their lives. With each client, she strives to uncover core issues through a variety of counseling interventions in combination with her sense of humor and optimism. As a master’s level therapist, Elizabeth’s greatest passion is empowering others to never stop learning as they continue to evolve in their life. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Fort Hays State University, Kansas. She also earned two master’s degrees from Nova Southeastern University: a Master’s in Forensic Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Elizabeth is a certified parent trainer who works with parents and their children who are struggling with behavioral problems. Elizabeth specializes in Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) and other behavioral disorders such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Conduct Disorder. In addition, Elizabeth also treats adults and families who are dealing with various mental health, family, and relationship issues.

Alexandra is a licensed social worker in both Florida and New York as well as a graduate of Columbia University. She has 15-plus years of experience as an advocate and therapist in both rural and urban settings, beginning her career working with children. She has provided direct treatment to individuals and families, worked within governmental systems, and advised non-profits on a national level.

Alexandra can assist with gaining a deeper understanding of the impact of our histories on how we view the world. She is excited to partner with you to improve the way you relate to others and, more importantly, to yourself. Additionally, she specializes in addressing the neurobiological manifestation of issues through sound and frequency methods, which she pursued after witnessing the quick transformation for clients and for herself.

Kelly grew up in Vero Beach after moving there from West Virginia while she was in elementary school. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University School of Social Work in 1999 with a Master’s in social work and a minor in psychology and was an active member of Chi Omega sorority.  She is currently a licensed as a Provisional Clinical Social Worker and is working towards her full license as a clinical social worker.

She has worked in a variety of settings throughout the last 25 years, including inpatient psychiatric, Department of Juvenile Justice Corrections facility, residential group home, behavioral analysis, community mental health, and hospice. This experience has focused primarily on children, as well as children in foster care and families involved with Department of Children and Families.

She attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, before moving to Florida, subsequently graduating with a degree in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Dr. VanVleet graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. JoAnna VanVleet heads our transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy program. For new and redetermination appointments, please book your appointment with Dr. VanVleet. She is a Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Distinguished Fellow with the American Psychiatric Association. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, before moving to Florida, subsequently graduating with a degree in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Dr. VanVleet graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. VanVleet completed her four-year psychiatric internship and residency training through Henry Ford Behavioral Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. VanVleet is the Medical Director for iMind Mental Health Solutions, an outpatient mental health care clinic offering the full spectrum of care, from therapy to psychiatry and breakthrough treatments such as transcranial magnetic stimulation and Spravato. Dr. VanVleet is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Florida Psychiatric Society, the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, American Society of Addiction Medicine, and American Medical Association.

Kenesha earned a Master’s of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from St. Thomas University. She comes to iMind after serving as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at the Jessie Trice Community Center in Hialeah, Florida, where her caring, compassionate manner was much appreciated by her patients. Kenesha is available in both the Stuart and Port St. Lucie iMind locations.

My name is Riley Remer and I am so excited to be joining this practice. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree. Furthermore, I attended Florida State University postgrad in which I obtained my master’s degree in physician assistant studies. I have had a passion for psychiatry, stemming from my time in undergrad in which I majored in psychology. Each appointment with me will be centered around cultivating a climate of trust with my patients, performing a psychiatric evaluation, and then collaboratively agreeing on an effective treatment plan.
